Join Daryl Kulak of Pillar Technology for an orientation to the world of Agile software development. If Agile were a marketing campaign, it would certainly be a winner. But does it really work? Daryl will provide a side-by-side comparison between the techniques we use in traditional lifecycles and techniques from Agile. The Association of Information Technology Professionals is the oldest organization representing IT professionals in the United States. Our association is dedicated to the advancement of the information processing professional by promoting the effective, responsible management of information technology to the benefit of its members, their employers and society. Members are provided with a wide range of opportunities for technical and management skills enhancement. Membership also means interaction with other computer professionals at the Chapter level, Region and Association conferences and seminars, and through technical and management certification programs. The Columbus, Ohio Chapter has served the greater Columbus community since 1952. Today, the members of the Columbus Chapter of AITP represent the private sector in the banking, insurance, consulting, auditing, manufacturing, transportation, communications, publishing industries as well as many others. The chapter has members from branches of federal, state and local government in the public sector. Members of the educational community at all levels are found to be actively involved in the association.
